Kevin has been an estate agent since joining Snushall’s Leicester city centre office in 1985 as an eighteen year old straight from finishing his A-levels. He worked for three agents over a sixteen year period gaining invaluable experience in the city, Syston, and Wigston before choosing Glenfield to open his own business in 2001.
His wife Candi has been an integral part of the business from day one, having given up her own career to work in and build this successful business from scratch. For the first eighteen months this determined husband-and-wife team worked 7 days a week, often beyond the office opening hours to make an impact in Glenfield and the surrounding area.
Nine years ago Candi opened her own business, a gift boutique named Flint in Groby and has recently added an exciting range of ladies fashions, handbags and jewellery. She continues to have an active role in Newby & Co as well as Flint – which shows huge commitment and many long hours!
Kevin and Candi owe a great deal of thanks to all their friends and family who have supported them over the last fifteen years, particularly their three children and granddaughter who have grown up understanding the time devoted to running your own businesses.
Tracey was the first employee of Newby & Co when she joined in February 2003. She has proven to be a popular member of the team with our clients and plays an integral role both in the office and out providing market appraisals.
Tracey and her close family live in Glenfield and she has an excellent knowledge of the local area and the local schools in particular.
Caroline has worked for Newby & Co since April 2004. She is an excellent sales negotiator and a keen sales progressor. She is an important link within the office and one of the reasons why our clients are kept so well informed.
Originally a Yorkshire lass, Caroline has lived in Leicestershire most of her life and in Ratby for several years. There isn’t much about Ratby that Caroline doesn’t know!
The life and soul of any party!
Bernard is our accompanied viewer, showing clients our properties in all weathers, come rain or shine! He is ex-police force, and has also lived and sold properties overseas.
Bernard has moved house 18 times (5 of which have been sold by Newby & Co) so has a wealth of experience from both sides of the coin!
Always a jolly soul, there is nothing too much trouble for Bernard!
Amy worked for us when she was 19 and then moved on to new pastures for a while, during which time she became a fabulous mummy to her two young sons. Amy re-joined Newby & Co in the autumn of 2015 and has slotted back in as if she has never been away. Adding the youth to our existing experience, Amy provides the bubbles to the fine wines in our office!
